Hello! My name’s Mark Smith, although I’m known as Judy2k nearly everywhere online. I’m not going to tell you why. 😁 I may be that guy with the viking helmet you used to follow on Twitter. My pronouns are He/Him.
I speak and write mainly about Python, Rust, and MongoDB.
I’m a Senior Developer for hire! I’ve previously worked at MongoDB, Vonage, FanDuel, Skyscanner and ST Microelectronics. I give talks and I’ve written blog posts on the MongoDB Developer Blog and this blog.
I’ve been interviewed on the Django Chat podcast, the MongoDB Podcast, and Test & Code. But I can’t listen to them because I can’t bear to hear the sound of my own voice. 🙈
I’m based in Edinburgh, Scotland, with my family and too many dogs.
